Not what we were all hoping to hear obviously (well except maybe hokey)
Now things don't look good immediate short term, as most are saying, FBR are going to NEED to make a deal here or with WB otherwise really what are they even doing?
The extension is awful short term news but a good sign over all as it's not an outright dismissal of the deal, we can only hope they're finalizing a deal but if that was the case why not outright say what's going on without that very disturbing disclaimer.
I don't think FBR can play 'hardbrick' on this one and come out ahead.
The 45 days was a bit arbitrary to begin with.. another 45 days maximum but if there's no deal I'm not going to be happy with management, my capital can be better allocated at that point.
I don't see investor confidence going anywhere but down for now.
not sure if anyone else has called investor relations to see what's up yet, but worth the call to see whats going on.
