5 rupees is approx 10c Australian. Now I'm sure its more that that, but lets say for fun it was 10c per month. And lets say they only get 1% penetration of 430 million subscribers, which is 4.3 million subscribers.
At 10c per month, that would be $5.16m pa. Now lets assume that 25% of that is gone in revenue sharing (probably overstated especially since RS only applies where sold as value add, not bundles), that's $3.87m pa revenue. Given that Vodafone are taking on all the 'front line' and marketing costs, and FZO is only responsible for escalated support, I personally am excited by that...especially since I expect its extremely conservative (ie will be more than '5 rupees')
And ofc that gives it access to the Indian market in a big way. Will schools want their filtering service as well? I expect so.
