How majority of companies approach this. Releasing an MVP and then optimising the customer experience is not unique to FAM. Everyone would be complaining if they were still yet to release anything at this stage.
The changes they are making are effective, but it appears enough the market just isn't interested. They are still yet to provide any stats on onboarding, so going by last quarterly I estimate they have 500 paying customers at most.
