As a general comment, I think Swedes have their rights, and Dragon does not behave professionally at all, when trying blame others for their low quality work or hurry.

It should be also noted, that the permit authority had an option to grant permit with right to start despite possible appeals. This was not granted, so the permit authority had also major doubt about this permit.

    Translation
    – Tekniken är väl beprövad det är i princip samma reningsteknik som vi har använt under alla år i Svartliden, säger Josh Stewart.

-Technology is well tested, it is in principle the same purification technology we have used for all years i Svartliden , says Josh

This is interesting, and if really so Svartliden should be examined more in detail.
The permit says that there could some 20 kg arsene during some months(4?) to be made dissappear by filtering it into the ground.
Just based on regular common sense one could understand, that this won't work.
The theoretic idea is that arsene in water lead to the ground filtration would get evenly distributed
to a block of the ground, which would be 100 meters wide, ten meters deep, and several hundred meters long, and the amount per kilogram of ground would neglible. Ground water flows within the layers of ground with arsene and would substantially end up in the rivers.
If this "innovation" would work, then any waste contaminant or arsene could be made disappear just by filtering it to the ground and to ground water and calculate a block of ground to which would be theoretically large enough to absorb it, when evenly distributed.
Unfortunalty in the real word aresene water let to ground water would spoil it, and this has been tested in practise for some thousands of years.
I'd really like challenge the Dragon team here to give any real life reference, that this would have even a minor chance to work even to some degree. And if really you do this Svartliden, lets check the ground and the ground water.
So possibly the Dragon process engineers, e.g. ones recommended by millie43au, would like to answer, because this they likely would need to do anyway?
