kojak - you are right, none of this matters greatly I suspect but just to help me organise my own thinking...
... I think that there was an error in drafting the quarterly. The report should be about the 3 months to the end of December, not the period to the end of January. Yes the report does say "at time of writing, 19 [Phase 2] holes had been drilled" but it then goes on to state that "... a total of 58 RC holes were drilled for the Quarter..." that would be 39 holes in Phase 1 and the 19 holes in Phase 2".
So I think you will find that they "immediately" started drilling Phase 2 holes at the end of November when they had completed the 39 holes in Phase 1, and that by the end of December they had completed 19 holes in Phase 2. They have provided no information about the Phase 2 drilling progress after the end of December but in the 1 Feb 19 update they said that they had received assay results from 20 Phase 2 holes and that there were 27 assay results from the Phase 2 drilling yet to be received - suggesting to me that by 1 Feb 19 they had completed the Phase 2 drilling campaign. In the 20 Feb 19 presentation they say that the assay results from 18 Phase 2 holes were yet to be received. That suggests to me that the lab has been sitting on those 18 Phase 2 hole samples for all of February and I guess / hope that Troy management will be in a position next week to release all or at least the bulk of those 18 assay results.
Part of the confusion is that they keep moving the goalposts: on 14 Dec 18 they stated that there would be 23 holes to be drilled in Phase 2, in the quarterly which was released on 31 Jan 19 they stated that there were 46 holes drilled in Phase 2 and yet the very next day, on 1 Feb 19 they stated that there were 47 holes drilled in Phase 2. (proofreading is an absolute shocker of a job and in a small operation like Troy with few "new sets of eyes" on hand, typos and stuff-ups in reports are not unexpected).
