If I recall correctly, smarts underground was only taken out of the equation because they would have needed to do more drilling to put it in to the proven category.

ATM there is 290 k oz in smarts underground, bit less than half measured and indicated so still needs a bit more drilling. But of course going under ground requires some cap-ex and has higher costs, so it's a nice little resource for when try are in a position to take advantage of it.
