What's reflected light petrography gonna reveal? Do you know anything about petrography?
I would say that given the crazy metallurgy and the weird ionic\alloyed nature you'd be lucky to get any minerals that can be identified because there's nothing to reference any petrographic observations against.
What's the point, and why is it important? It's basically an academic exercise (right up your alley) with no great practical purpose.
The important thing is that it's chokkas full of gold and other precious metals and we have an extraction method which will produce a gold dore and make lots of money for shareholders.
