Attended the presentation by TRY at the RIU explorers conference today in Fremantle given by Peter Stern.
A well presented presentation detailing the lows in the past and then trying to sell the positive outlook going forward.
Also attended the TRY booth manned by Peter and discussed the recent results.
He was very keen to indicate if they can average 3.2 grams per ton moving forward they will make a lot of money. Anything above this would be a bonus. They are very confident this will be achievable and as a result they are moving on with mining at OC ASAP.
It also appears to me that the pending results are not going to add a lot to the picture. They are not going to be in a position to extend the strike length and many of them are infill.
They are very keen to get some results from the RC core drilling to help them interpret the geology of the site. Expected to start very soon, but results will take some time as they have to construct a model.
Also said that the delay in results from the lab are due to the high grades. When grades are high there is a requirement that they have to be tested twice to avoid error.
Well done to Peter Stern for trying to sell the message by himself. Most other booths were manned by at least two or three people, but he took it on by himself.
