Hey Ted,
water off a ducks back mate. I feel your frustration and without doubt HC has the ability to help sooth, or ruffle feathers.
GCY is not heavily discussed on HC, for reasons that perhaps can come down simply to grade? Both projects to date are fairly low grade (but economic), which compares to others which, whilst not having a lot of ounces, have higher grades. Perhaps just some rambling on my part.
I do agree with you about the gold sector, it would seem that some companies believe now is a pretty good time to be making either outright purchases, or undertaking T/O offers. That being said, the likes of SBM or SAR have yet to make a move yet either, which has surprised me, especially SBM. NST has even shown its happy to move into the U.S, which I was a little surprised about, considering they have prided themselves on being Australia focused (even though it would seem the market is very favorable to it).
Other than the big end of town, and even some of them have come back quite a bit in their share prices, SBM again a good example. Even DCN which has not put a step wrong, is over 30% off its highs now.
I do think GCY may have been trading around $0.35 if they had been able to raise at a much higher price earlier in the year, but not much else I need to say on that matter.
Always happy to discuss GCY, just hard to when the company is laying low. The lack of drilling results is a little surprising, considering they have been waiting on so many results, but perhaps they have been less than stellar. Although even if they were good, the market probably would not care. All that matters right now is whether GCY is profitable. More waiting I guess!
