Tks for the very civil reply Spec. I think I do rather need a slap on the wrist sometimes for letting some of my frustrations out on HC. If you could accept my sincere apologies for a somewhat rude jab, I do believe people here respect and value your in-put. (perhaps my motive was to get you back on posting, lol)
On a positive note, I think the fine people here on the GCY posts are a good group of informative and like minded people. We are, after all, pretty much in the same boat and having seen threads from some other shares, GCY has been the most impressive and intelligent. I do vow to not go over the top again
I must say I was encouraged by an article in the paper re- big instos (USA) looking to invest in the WA gold mines and looking for consolidation (m and a 's , I guess) to get involved. This has always been my biggest hope that GCY will get an offer someday from the big players. It goes back to some of the research I did on gold sometime ago and read several good articles on the world supply of AU being low and getting even lower, due in part to Ruskis and China dealing more in it (why wouldn't you when their currencies are getting so low). Tho having a rough trot at the moment (USD taking the safe haven cap - how come? ((don't understand that)), but thats where it is atm) I am still confident that there will be a turn around and upward trend in Au in the not too distant future - here's hoping on both counts!
