Could just be that the NE holes were testing the other side of the interpreted fault, and didn't intersect significant mineralisation. In a major drill programme such as this, individual holes not intersecting mineralisation is not material - indeed we have seen MOD not report such previously, I assume for that reason. You don't need to resort to guesswork either - you could wait for further announcements, or you could contact the company with any queries. I've done that on several occasions and received rapid replies.

I agree the finer details are important but imho getting too wrapped up in them risks missing the bigger picture. Each to their own eh.
