Strezelecki, Barkers and Raleigh have historically all been around that 1m width and mined successfully for 25 years, even when gold was $US250/oz. Dilution is managed by the long hole stoping drill pattern management and resue development.
Even in the open pits there tight spotting was used to chicel the ore out with minimal dilution - even high grade stringers down to 50cm width.
