Not doubting you but that does sound a bit weird - given that EVN started out with a "failed pre-feas" gold-silver-copper project that eventually became Mt Carlton, nothing wrong with that orebody (in hindsight)!

Regarding Monitor - with intercepts like 27m @ 2.75% Cu reasonably close to other intercepts like 12m @ 2.00% Cu and 16.9g/T Au its truly mind boggling that results like that maybe haven't been followed up? and would not be interesting to the guys at EVN ? The only fatal flaw I can see so far is the depth of the high grade mineralized zones but at those copper and gold grades - if they can put enough drill holes in to prove up enough tonnes of ore like that then these are potentially very high grade orebodies.

If anything - Goanna looks even better with multiple lenses of ironstone hosted high grade Cu and Au, and not quite as deep as Monitor.
