I sent an email to the company asking for a better explanation and half an hour later received a phone call from Geoff. Was a little shocked actually... He chatted with me for half an hour. He basically said that the announcement really did explain what happened. The believed that there was no reason to drill further because they believed they were below where they needed to be according to the geology. He said drilling further would be wasting money. He said they need to study the data and the data from neighbours and try and figure out where they need to drill next. They haven't written Big Smoky off. He was disappointed as I'm sure we all are.. It sounds like it might take a little time before they no what direction to go and then there is permits etc. Anyway I guess ill just sit tight because selling would be a big loss for me at this point... Big credit to Geoff for taking the time to speak to an unknown for half an hour.
