Exactly. Obviously someone with clout wanted a second opinion on the way it was being handled but, that is still to be determined as to just who was right.
Holding a kangaroo court at this stage is dangerous in my opinion.
Until that expert assessment is received, and considered, then we do not know who was right and who was wrong.
Maybe the new management will end up finding that DG was on the right track, maybe they will find that he completely stuffed up but, until then some posters must be very close to defamation with some of their posts here on HC.
He cannot be blamed for losing the rods down the hole and if he was told by the driller that they could not be retrieved then I would think that he would believe them.
Also, to the best of my knowledge, the rods are not as yet retrieved, so it remains to be seen if they can be.
Personally I don't give a big rats bum either way as I dumped on the news and am just waiting for the air to clear before making a decision.
I am saying however: Get a grip!
