$350 per hour, 24x7 for a whole week is under $60k. So even if they could not be temporarily stood down while the geo collected his thoughts, that is a pretty paltry amount for what was a potentially company making decision. Taking off his myopic geo hat and putting on the md hat would have been nice.

This is seemingly an issue of (in)competence. We will have a better idea whether that was the case in a couple of weeks when the consultant hangs his rep on his report.

Whether ASIC will investigate timing of DHEM and DG departure, we will see. Hard to imagine he didn't know the results.
