i'd expect a big uptick in the new year..... esp now that Pdn's Canadian assets now have real value...under the moratorium..they basically were worthless
...todays results now add more value to Pdn assets....
....now all that has to happen for a trifecta...is for Bligh in Qld and her useless Labor misfits to get the push in an election...and then Pdn's qld assets will once again have VALUE...
With Rio trumping Cameco for Hathor...Cameco is sitting on its warchest and realises only to well ...Pdn's canadian assets will be a very good replacement for the hathor loss...and on home turf.....
With Pdn's non performing assets gaining value cameco would be realising its previous assement needs revising esp since the low share price openes the opportunity for a lower offer than would have previously been required. the low share price is the starting point for an offer not the end price... previously above $6 on market they would have to made an initial offer of market + 15 to 20 % buyers premium .....allowing for room for a second or third offer.....
now they start at market of $1.40 to $1.50 + a buyers premium..... the end premium will be determined by the major shareholders....I'm sure any bidder would already know their ball park exit figure...]
xmas period ..always slow...easy to manipulate the price at this time...easy to flush out sellers ....shorters work hand in hand with the buyer...who most probably is also the lender who supplies the stock for shorting.....
one thing about most shorts...the lender can demand a recall at anytime.....and if the shorter and lender aren't working in harmony...then the shorter will get burnt alive....most unlikely outcome.....
recent activity in Billabong should be viewed as a lesson on how the lender and the shorter work together...
well wait and see...anything can happen......looks like a buy at this stage....
