No expert - but that may be something to do with PUR deposits are unweathered magnetite ? Each deposit will be different - how much you get end stage . All about the minerology and process used to concentrate. How much waste you get ? How much whole rock is discarded with tailings containing vanadium that the process couldn’t pick up.
suggest you email the company or call them if you want a technical answer .
So yes , can have a deposit like AVL with higher rock grade but it’s concentrate recovery produces less than PUR.
