Fiendish there is a around 4oo,000 tons a year of MOP +SOP total imported into AUS. SOP is preferred over MOP in OZ I am led to believe so there is a 400,000 ton pa market for SOP existing and as Australia becomes more and more the food bowl of Asia then demand may increase. Then there will be export potential as well if cost of production is low enough which I think it will be given the pump and evaporate model being looked at. I don't see there being trouble selling all the SOP Australian producers can produce.
