To put a more positive spin on it at least it saves having to go to the market everytime Brighton wants to raise funds. And that means management can concentrate on what it needs to primarily do - find gold.
I'm for the long haul - it has been 5 years already so a couple more won't hurt. And with the look of the market lately - where else to put the money in anyway?
