I think this is sensational news...just think about it!

Go back say 2 years ago and tell a junior gold CEO that you'll be hedging at $1350+ an oz with a margin of $1,000 and they'd commit you to a padded cell.

Used properly these instruments are brilliant at giving stability and certainty to a project.

But, having just watched the Melbourne Cup...the analogy is so true: We see EVG perform on the day and the result looks brilliant. What we don't see or necessarily hear about is the blood, sweat and tears required to deliver on the day.

And with EVG there have been some dry gullies and many futile frustrations. I think its an utter credit to BJ and crew to have stuck it out (often with there own money and not small dollops of it either). We're now roaring up the tarmac!

Well done but totally agree with John...let's get onto the front foot and put some sizzle and pizzaz into the good news!

Perhaps we HC posters can become a little bit more of a cheer squad by using the thumbs up and posting frequently.
