Big pharma like Sanofi and Pfizer know that, even with blockbuster drugs on their lines, there still need for rejuvenating their folios periodically, preferably way before generic rivalries kicks in.

BTX 1204 - and BTX1503 - may actually disrupt whatever coziness is left in there....but we don't know that for sure yet ....

With the start of the new year the commentary on outlooks are popping out all over the place, taking everything with a grain of salt, I found the following quite interesting, from Miracle Mile Advisors portfolio manager - an independent advisory firm in L.A. that works with high-net-worth clients - Brian Sterz commenting on big pharma in 2019:

...."Sterz expects Big Pharma to get into cannabis medicine in a big way
He expects Big Pharma companies to acquire biotech stocks with promising cannabis drugs to help diversify.
"Keep an eye on what's coming out of the mouths of major pharma," he said. "I think that will be your indication. Once one gets bought, they'll all get bought."

There's a lot of money in cannabis medicine, says Katexco Pharmaceuticals Chief Executive Jonathan Rothbard. Katexco, a private company, is the brainchild of Rothbard and Lawrence Steinman, both members of the Steinman Lab at Stanford University.
Katexco is investigating cannabis medicine in inflammation. ....."

There is also BTX1308 and BTX1801 with news on the latter coming out as soon as next week. I would suggest that when the announcement on BTX1801 is out (either next week or the next) it's the signal that the waters have broken and we are in for those multiple births of news of which BOT is currently pregnant (see Argonaut's).

Time for me to go back to being quite for a while longer as I feel a bit like Ivan Parry in Red River (1948): making a clatter while trying to steal sugar from the chuck wagon.....watch the scene and you'll see what I think will happen in a few months time.
