The bit about not bringing board representation up previously in EGO's response letter was another paragraph they plagiarized from the response DTE provided to NHC days before. Maybe they just copy pasted because it sounded good but didn't really apply to them :) Sure hope EGO aren't paying their PR person too much...

The Directors of Dart are disappointed that New Hope has chosen to requisition a shareholder
meeting rather than to engage directly with the Company in relation to the composition of the
Board and despite numerous recent discussions between the Company and New Hope during
which no request for board representation was made by New Hope.
From EGO:
The Directors of Empire are very disappointed that ERM as a Joint Venture Partner, has chosen to
requisition a shareholder meeting rather than engage directly with the Company in relation to the
composition of the Board and despite numerous Operating Committee and Technical Committee
Meetings and numerous discussions held in good faith concerning the seven respective Joint Ventures
with ERM in the Perth Basin. During this time there has not been any request for board representation.
