I think you are right in saying the deal is essentially done - the optics of signing and so forth will just have to play themselves out in the next few weeks like some automaton.

What I am less sanguine about is the degree of price increase we will see as this completes - the market seems to have lost all interest in ECT and without lots of new blood bashing on the door wanting a piece of the action the SP simply won't budge much.  Hope I'm spectacularly wrong and its just the exhaustion talking - would be great to see some well heeled instos and sophos climbing over each other for a bit of scrip.
