My stink bid has been missed twice in a week by around a cent or two.

I've been watching the patterns of the bots and have observed the following

-creation of wide disorganised spreads on the buy side by inserting bids as needed
-selling into large buy orders to eliminate the chance that momentum is built or maintained on the buy side
-pump up the sell side with loads of small orders so that supply comes in at lower prices
-make the ratio of buy/sell units and buyers/sellers compliment a short position
-elicit supply as low as possible by buying and selling as necessary

The net effects are the you get orders filled or smashed down to size, a thin buy side, and an illusion of poor technicals.

Days/weeks after a positive run, when enough orders lapse and the buy side looks weak the bot, or someone then seizes the opportunity to sell into the weakness, drawing out the stops (my own on one occasion months back) of the technical geniuses amongst us.

This bot exploits confusion and psychology of buyers and holders to someone else's end.

I don't believe it is possible to use technical analysis here at the moment, that's exactly what the bot is up to, wrecking the technicals to elicit supply.

Why? Because of the long term fundamentals. As long as the bot is driving down, this stock is a BUY, a strong BUY. Has to be because someone who knows more than us is running this thing and trying to convince you to sell.

Anyone remember before the bot rocked up? No supply, it ran almost uninterrupted from 1.10 to 2.50.
