The stock won't be sold on-market, it will be done as a single block of stock (or a few blocks of stock) which will be placed with institutional investors.
In other words, the share price damage doesn't occur when the stock is actually off-loaded, but it occurs ahead of that point in time as fund managers - who are looking to put their hand up for that under-writing stock, act to get the price as low as possible so that they can bid for the stock as cheaply as possible.
But at all times, when it comes to investing the most important thing is valuation, rather than the technicalities around short-term trading dynamics.
The reason I referenced these short-term technicalities in this case is because that's what drove the share price to a fundamentally under-valued level.
