Lithium and Cobalt have been the darlings of the last couple years in the whole EV space but if you look below you'll see that Rare Earths are very much a focal point for EV's
Only issue not many people understand the rare earth market.
China is currently the largest producer of Rare Earths but over the next 5-10 years they will become heavily depleted and become a net importer of RE. How does this relate to MNB?
Well MNB look to have come across a Bastnasite deposit which is cheaper and easier to process than many of the RE deposits found in Australia. you won't be looking at a CAPEX of $600mil+ but something around the $200-300 mil mark.
So if you put the fact that this deposit could prove to be very large from early indications and have very favourable mineralogy and realise that the Chinese will start to look outside of China for low cost deposits MNB could have a very quick and sharp rise.
The downside is limited here but the upside could be absolutely huge, very glad i am across this one!
