re: Ann: Empire's Response to ERM's R... Yes, I would have thought the newspaper articles on the damage to free speech would have been much more damaging than anything said on Hotcopper. I mean how many people read any post & I would assume it would be approximatey the same amount of people reading the same thread? 1,000, 5,000? Does anyone know how many people read the defaming posts in question? Weren't they taken off if found to be of that nature so only so many could read them? I would think 100's of thousands read newspapers! Was the legal advice the best advice? Do you think it would have been prudent to get all sorts of advice rather than just legal? Perhaps they did & we can ask that question at the AGM.
