Just further on this, the cap raising would be 87,000,000 shares, added to the 36,984,062 post-consolidation making 123,984,062 shares on issue.
Another question I'd ask is whether the company will try to pump the shareprice up a bit before the consolidation. That'd raise the post-consolidation price well above 20c, which'd make the financing that much easier to obtain.
If they can prove earnings of $9 mil a year, even a 5 to 1 P/E should put them around $45 mil MC, or 36c a share. So to buy now at, say, 6c, post-consolidation your shares would be worth 21c, and if all went as planned & the price rose to 36c you'd be making a 71% gain.
I wish they hadn't thrown the consolidation into the mix - I think it really makes things more complex than they need to be.
