This will be a very tight competition if these two (with Cloudzen) can capture the markets attention. Google tends to have a track record of failure where they are trying to enter a new market in which there's already an established media service in that area. For example - Google Video (Youtube in which they bought later on), Google Buzz and Google+ (both Facebook and Twitter) and even to some extent Google Music (Spotify and Apple Music). Good announcement, should spur excitement if they offer a unique and user friendly service and promote the hell out of it - and of course first to market!
