    Again not a good comparison. The capital cost of extracting laterites is approximately an order of magnitude greater in laterite operations than sulphides, so 23Mt of laterite is probably still sub economic - unless they plan to sell it into NPI smelters, in which case they’ll get a marginal price per tonne.

    If SGQ has 23 Mt at their grades of sulphide there would already be a mine and mill complex laughing all the way to the bank.
