As an investor and an OA sufferer I have been a bit interested in the trials of pps as a treatment but I keep running into dead ends with my research. Is it only suitable for “current and retired elite athletes” ? Is there any successful treatment for garden variety old timers who played a bit of sport as a kid without reaching elite status ? The reports of their success keep mentioning bone marrow edema lesion as the target. Is that the problem in old age arthritis or just for elite athletes. Serious question if anybody can help. There’s a lot of difference if it’s suitable for the entire older population as against just the sports injury patients.
