I suppose if they could also claim to be trapping and utilizing waste mine gas that would otherwise vent (aka fugitive emissions) then they have a good case. CH4 being 21 times worse than C02 in the atmosphere, its a cogent argument to burn it efficiently and have a lot less C02 get away.

As you may know Tanscor Astra Gp who took the convertible notes are 80% owned by Baron Albert Frere and his family who also happen to be the largest shareholders of Total S.A. ..but I guess little ol EPG might be too small for Total to worry about , although 8tcf or whatever they think they have is not small pommes.
