re: Ann: Electricity Development Project Pre ... I think any major oilers that plan a JV would only do so to fill the "environment" section on their website. AOE on the other hand would farm-in to increase the profile of their international business.

After this announcement though, i am no longer as concerned about whether or not they sign a JV or not. If they use the cashflow from the power plant, they should be able to fund their own E&P program. They should only consider a JV if it adds technical experience. I would definitely prefer the partner to be AOE due to their focus on low costs and high margins.

I didn't know about Transcor's link to Total, i bought into EPG for the AOE play so didn't research too much before buying, i just knew 26m market cap was too low for a company with positive cashflow. Thanks for the info.

What i recently learned though is pommes means apple. I was taught that in French class 2 weeks ago. Potato is pomme de terre (apple of the earth). No idea why french fries are pomme frittes.
