"So if I am to summarise the current state of play in real world terms, the chip delivers single tones to 1 trilling cycle reliability up to 100Hz. What about it's reliability above the 100Hz threshold announced."

Nope, they've said "The recently received wafers have so far proven to provide exceptional performance in particular in generating low frequencies (100Hz and below)." and "The approach has so far proven itself under the most extreme "real playing conditions"."

"What is cone breakup you ask?"

Other than you nobody is asking about that.

"Imagine only half the pixel moving (i.e. moving sideways) producing an unreliable pulse that then impacts on the adjacent pixels"

Based on the drawings from the patents I can't imagine how only half a pixel can move, let alone move sideways and impact adjacent pixels.

"It should also be noted that I think the chip is being used to produce simple waveforms, so the pixels are travelling in unison."

So you're suggesting they're operating their speaker (designed to produce sound via digital sound reconstruction) like a traditional sound reconstruction speaker. This is completely illogical, any basis for your thoughts?

"I note that the USound chip produces 115dB output down to 10Hz flat to 1kHz, but as we know the USound chip is not an analog speaker..."

Yes it has that output but using what measuring standard? Massive hint - headphones. The USound chip is an analog speaker, perhaps you misspoke?

"We're not there yet, AKP haven't even touched the surface when it comes to the algorithms and control system to be able to split and handle complex sounds."

Except they have stated they've played complex sounds.

Fine to have an opinion Vlad, you're a smart guy so would'nt have thought you'd believe a lot of what you've written.
