It’s hard to convey the impressions from post-Meeting discussions, but like you I’ve also had many such chats with Danny, Yuval and Fred over the years, and from a lifetime of experience in personnel assessment, I’ve decided to broadly trust their explanations of the technical development issues encountered.
This new technology was assessed by Sony experts years ago as impossible/unachievable - but after detailed access under NDAs more recently, these same technologists ‘are now our biggest champions’.
Having spent much of my working life in the development and testing of state-of-the-art Air Force technology, I know that these projects always take longer and cost more than initial forecasts.
But they (nearly always!) WORK - if you have the right dedicated development people. And I’m in no doubt that the Tel Aviv team have been working extremely hard for a long time to solve the problems - and they all have a great deal at stake, of course.
