the difficulty for this efs situation is the amount of different operators on all sides
talisman, chesapeake, swift and murphy
talisman are interested in expanding oil acreages in the efs.
chesapeake have been smacked around big time with gas projects and imho would prefer oil only shale
swift and murphy are very active in the area right now
i wonder if the efs jvp is designed to make is easier for a few of the smaller players to sell perhaps an even bigger combined parcel to a larger operator as a group?? so demerger it, add some debt to fund the required wells, prove up some bigger PUD numbers, then get it in the hands of those who are able to do the full field development?
just thinking it out loud
olmos project, refrac hoskins well and then drill 2 more next year with a view to sell the lot as it gets proven up
texon II
east texas, in a jvp already, drill a few wells there next year then lease up acreages if the engineering works..
so much info to digest
all imho and just trying to digest this all right now
