Another point to note is that the Governments R&D rebate will probably apply to any money spent by EDE on genuine R&D. This could see 42c in each dollar spent by them being rebated. A company that I am involved with receives this rebate and it goes a long way to enable our survival and progress. In our case the expenditure by a university requires some contribution by the company involved before they get any grant funding for a project. I expect this would also apply to EDE. Universities are also notoriously slow with their projects. Time is not usually the essence of the contract. They are also very fussy with confidentiality agreements so EDE's IP is probably well protected. This was the case with Edencrete and Monash.

Interesting also is that the person we have been working with had also had something to do with Edencrete but he gave us no more details of that "something".
