Thanks Moosey,
Thinking that APA's comments re the 10% H2 capacity are a little cloudy and rather than involve actual pure H2 by their existing network they are instead referencing the concept of "renewable methane" as is involved in their venture with Southern Green Gas ie, using solar energy to produce H2 by electrolysis (at solar farms etc) then using C & H20 from the air to convert this to "renewable methane" which is able to be transported via its pipelines.

Woodside have embarked on a hydrogen strategy that involves "blue hydrogen" initially and then "green hydrogen" down-the -track. Blue hydrogen uses traditional steam reforming to create H2 but has the problem that enormous amounts of Co2 are produced & require capturing/sequestering.
https://www.woodside.com.au/innovation/hydrogen
Green Hydrogen is basically the same electrolysis process as Southern Green Gas using solar & water. Direct shipping of produced H2 is probably relatively feasible for Woodside if it targets the export market via seaborne tanker and supplements existing NG pipelines with localised dedicated H2 pipelines to allow this. They are also talking of exporting H2 in the form of ammonia ie, NH3
Can EDE's pyrolysis process compete directly with the "blue hydrogen " route??? Would be very interested in how feasible/economic that is if the process is dramatically upscaled. That is...it is potentially a means of producing H2 in bulk where the carbon capture is already achieved.... in the form of carbon nanotubes. Obviously these are a useable resource....but worst-case, these could be buried. The economic case then becomes not a direct comparison to just the established steam-reformation process but to the additional cost that is entailed in the following Carbon-capture-process that H2 "blue-hydrogen" producers must also then outlay for...
