I guess Tanzania released the permit to the locals to give them a "head start" of some sort... and these articles about wannabe graphite miners prove that to me...

I am sure there is a lot of local knowledge in Tanzania about gold, copper, nickel etc where thye have seen a mine come up and product being shipped out at INTERNATIONAL $$$ price of that commodity... 1 oz of gold is 1 oz of gold - PERIOD... 1 lb of Cu/Ni is the the same - you can open any commodity website and get their rate and depending on whether you are selling some concentrate or refined product, you can come to the exact $ figure of what you can expect out of your produce - give or take some fluctuations in the market...

BUT BUT BUT 1 kg of graphite IS NOT 1 kg of graphite.... I guess they will soon realise that graphite ina pencil is graphite BUT it is NOT the graphite in a battery... I am sure they are trying to "delay" foreign applications for any number of reasons they can come up with in the hope that 100% Tanzanian holdings can take the first mover advantage, but ONLY if it were that easy in the graphite space...

there is a lot that needs to be done before a 55kg lump of graphite ore can be used to produce enough battery grade graphite that Tesla or Panasonic or someone will use in their cells...

I hope the sooner they release the permits the better it is for their ultimate aim - to get a fair deal on their Tanzanian natural wealth... I hope common sense prevails soon... been long enough to get even the most patient edgy now.... will they kill the goose that can lay golden eggs ???
