Announcement detail was not totally unexpected. Been no updates for a while and given the intensity of drilling so I formed the conclusion nothing of overwhelming significance had been found, pretty much more of the same. We live from hole to hole so anything could happen at any time, and GBR do report promptly when something of significance is detected. Jury is still out therefore on whether or not we have something worthwhile at Mt Venn/Eastern Mafic.
The one thing that did disappoint me today, and I do feel management carry this on their shoulders, is that no mention was made of the 100,000 siemen conductors at Mt Venn Central which they previously mentioned and given they drilled more extension holes recently would it be unreasonable to assume these conductors were targeted as a matter or priority ? Therefore to not hear anything further is disappointing. I can only assume they were drilled but nothing of importance found. Would be nice to be told that if that's the case. My blood boils when management ( of any company) highlight a certain tantalizing possibility in an announcement to be followed by "total bloody silence" . The old story of being treated like mushrooms. Sweep it under the rug and hope no-one notices. Well, I for one noticed and if management read HC posts, some update on these high siemen conductors would be appreciated before long. Its not a case of what was found or not found, its the principle here, nothing makes investors more distrustful than lack of follow through reporting on an aspect previously highlighted
