Now Swami is claiming that DSO may be unlikely to occur and screenshots a paragraph with some applicable law (I have no reason to believe that it isn't current/correct)
'The MPRDA provides that before any person intends to beneficiate any material mined in the Republic of South Africa outside the Republic, the holder may only do so after written notice and in consultation with the minister. (it goes on but this I feel is the relevant bit)
The key bit I think is 'beneficiate any mineral mined in the Republic of South Africa "OUTSIDE" the Republic'
Who said TNO are looking to DSO to be processed outside the country?
I think it is much more likely that potential DSO would be processed within country. However even if there is the opportunity to do this outside the country, there would have to be incentive from the government to allow DSO outside of the country as it may allow TNO to take advantage of higher prices sooner while also possibly allowing TNO to produce within country quicker and with a larger operation, potentially resulting in more tax revenue for the government and jobs in the community. Obviously there's plenty to play out before this can become reality and the next step is seeing the drills on site which I can't wait for.
ps - I still love you Swami, but really think you have this one wrong
