re: Ann: Drillsearch offer price for Acer is ... Are you talking about the directors' holdings to get your 15 million figure? Only ~2 million traded on market today according to my broking account.

I would assume that the directors holdings were included to get to 82%. It was a significant jump over the weekend, but still a long way from 90%

They may hold back on releasing substantial holding notices if 90% does not look inevitable (no point giving holdouts cause for optimism), unless they are required to release them by law.

I expect more ducks and drakes games to scare/confuse holdouts into selling.

I liked how they included in today's announcement that holdouts would need to wait more than 6 weeks for their money. That made my more, rather than less likely to sell before the deadline.
