Interesting point Barney. DLS is being clear that other basins may have the same growth potential as the Cooper (although other than the Perth Basin) all have less mature infrastructure.

I continue to ponder just what DLSs board is looking at. Perhaps DLS will snap up the other 50% of the Mereenie field in the NT? Or perhaps go west to the Canning Basin? I suppose they could look to Victora, but.. to be honest, government policy down there is terrible.

With lots of sellers of assets in the market place, now is indeed a good time to buy (but then why are they selling off Tintaburra.. I realise its not making much money,, but... it has upside to a higher oil price).
