look, im not a geologist, but i did do a few subjects on geomechanics at uni. i believe your interpretation does not match the geology of the site. there is a layer of ignimbrite beneath the river, which is a kind of rock. this rock would prevent runoff from seeping freely below into the aquifer carrying the brine in the way you describe. i.e. its a confined aquifer!
i cannot fathom how you could write somethinf so full of baseless conjecture and attempt to pass it off as somehow having merit. you really have a skill there mate.
