What are you saying then? The flow in the photo is brine and they just don't want to say yet? Yeah right. The conductivity and TDS measurements they take on the way down would be a good indication I think.
From 6th Feb release regarding hole#1:
The hole initially intersected ~9m of alluvial cover before intersecting a thick layer of ignimbrite (avolcanic pyroclastic flow) to 165m. The hole then encountered a sequence of sands and clays hostingsalty waters which then, at about 235m, turned to brines hosted within coarse clastic sedimentsincluding a breccia‐conglomerate (see Figure 1). Conductivity measurements from brine samplesexceeded the 200 milli siemens/cm limits of the field recording instrument.
