Lode 161 is an emerging discovery under transported cover and the mineralisation is not well understood; however given the presence of abundant sulphides in a gneissic host it is likely that shearing is an important control on mineralisation. Interpretation of regional magnetic data shows magnetic units (dismembered greenstones?) are present on E28/2708, suggesting mineralising structures may trend into the tenement. There is no record that these zones of interest have been drill tested.
Good to see some nearology happening in relation to the Lode 161 discovery.
The comments about shearing reconciles with the example of the Champion Gniess deposit in India that I've discussed before and bode well for a series of deposits to eventually emerge along the shear zone/s which have been interpreted by JRL to run in an almost due north-south direction. They are showing AOPs Redskin NE prospect sitting along the same most easterly fault/shear zone as Lode 161.
With plus $5 million in liquid assets and so few shares on issue JRL seem well set up if they find a good prospect to get their teeth into. Esh
