"Processed Gold head grade", really?? I was tricked by this when I first read it and I'm sure I wasn't alone. Had to read the full announcement in detail to figure it out "Processed Gold head grade" = the grade of gold recovered. lol. Who writes this sort of stuff?? They were sampling at the plant why not release the results, or at least discuss why not. "Head grade" to me is what you start with not recover.
Then we have this gem,
"The head grade recovered from the gravity process plant was 4.71 g/t from 584 tonnes"
The term "head grade recovered" is usually expressed as a % of the actual head grade(well it is to every other gold miner I've read reports from). But not to AUL management where it equals the grade recovered.....go figure.

I believe you are reading the announcement incorrectly.

They did not know what the actual initial head grade was all they knew was the face grade and the processed grade, hence they could not give a recovery percentage just the 191% uplift from face to process.

If you or anyone else could inform me how initial head grades are measured accurately please let me know?
