AKK believes that the western part of the Florence oil field [Pathfinder]
holds greater oil accumulation potential than the existing known eastern
section..Florence.The Co. is using the latest 3d seismic in the deviated
well bores to gain a far greater appreciation of the total reservoir potential..
in other words a "catch all" in terms of oil accumulations.Wireline logs
and cores are only 1d.No wonder based on current/historical results ,that AKK wants
to stitch up as much acreage as possible as this western part of field
may produce production/flow rates in excess of expectations due
to more favourable geological setting...don't sell to early!!
