6.8gt is outstanding. gold mines are happy running head grade at 3gt if they are lucky. at 2.5gt you can make good money with an open pit in hard rock.
the reason the predicted cost is low is because this is an easy ore body to mine. very high grade. set between basalt pillars. simple stoping method. doesn't get much better. another reason the cost should be low is MYG should spend most of its time mining in the ore body, not wasting money developing drives in waste. very sexy ore body indeed.
the upside for this ore body is very interesting. the continuity in the current model makes me think MYG may be mining this past 1000m.
the key to high grade narrow vein is if it is continuous. most narrow vein deposits pinch in and out. when you get one that is continuous back forward and up down your onto something special. based on previous drilling this new hit is unlikely to ne a tiny occurrence. more likely a new mining area.
buy the way I sold my shares today. took a good profit. after a big hit on options last year that is. will re-enter if the gold price goes lower.
